songholladay: ([normal] gonna get fit)
It's Saturday morning and Song pads through her apartment, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. She draws the curtains to let the sunlight in, getting energy from its warmth, before she makes a beeline straight for the fridge, her stomach growling loudly. She frowns when she realizes she doesn't have eggs or bacon or ingredients to make pancakes which is atrocious! Because breakfast food is the best food and every Saturday morning since her adoption has been filled with amazing breakfast foods.

She groans a little before perking up again. "That's okay! I'll just check out what kind of breakfast Siren Cove has to offer. Nooo problem. Then I can visit the recreation center."

Satisfied with the game plan, she runs back to her room, changing out of her pjs and into a pair of shorts, a grey tank, and a red plaid shirt. She finds delicious pancakes at Quill, where she also finds the friendliest service and gets a discount for being "a new face". After finishing the cinnamon swirl pancakes and milk, she's off to find the Thornton Recreation Center which...isn't all that hard to find. Song's eyes widen when she sees it. The place is huge and looks state of the art, different compared to the rest of the town. When she gets inside, she's like a kid in a candy store--there's so much to do! Dance classes, a spa, tracks, swimming...she's a little bit overwhelmed and the receptionist has to fetch her a glass a water to get her to calm down.

She fucking loves recreation centers.

After chatting with the receptionist, Song has a pamphlet and a schedule of events and classes held at the recreation center. And with no job as of yet, she plans to attend every one. And be successful at every one. Because that's what a Holladay does. Overachieve at every damn thing they do. She signs up for more classes than she can currently remember, filling her phone's calendar with dates and times, even grabbing the receptionist's personal cell number, before she's off to explore.

Her first stop is where her heart and soul practically live--the dance studio. She's happy the center not only offers courses, but has empty floors available for private practice as well. Plopping down in front of the mirrors, Song stretches, displaying some of her unnatural flexibility. Once she's limber again, she plugs her phone into the speaker system and starts an old routine.

ooc: Hello, this is Song's official intro into the game, wooFind her at the recreation center! I imagine the room's glass so anyone can watch the dance routines going on. Feel free to catch her in the studio or run into her in other parts of the rec center.
